What is Coaching about?Coaching has grown in popularity and demand over recent years as it has proven to enable people to achieve clear and definable results. It is a confidential process between two people (Client and Coach), whereby the Coach supports the Client in achieving their goals.Coaching is in no way to be confused with counselling or any type of therapy. As you enter into a Coaching programme it is essential that you do so with the full understanding that you are responsible for achieving your own results. Who is Coaching for?The simple answer is anyone who wishes to make positive changes in any aspect of their life. Some people use Coaching because they know what they want but need clarity on how to get it/there, others seek Coaching because they know they want to change aspects of their current situation but need help in defining what/how they want to change.What does the Coach do?Critically empowers you (the Client) to take control of every aspect of your life by incorporating the use of tried, tested and successful Coaching techniques including the methods of Neuro Linguistic Programming The Coach will help you to draw out your values, beliefs and motivations relating to the results you want to achieve. They will support and guide you as you take positive steps forwards, and they will help you to overcome perceived obstructions that are getting in the way.How does Coaching work?Most effective Coaching takes place on a regular basis, either face-to-face or by telephone. The first session will be detailed to establish your goals and priorities, from there on each session will focus on a specific area and build on the previous sessions.The sessions can be as frequent as every week or as widely spaced as every 3 weeks and usually last 1 hour. These can be planned during the day or in the evening. You decide what works best for you and how quickly you want the results. A programme can encompass any number of sessions dependent upon your requirements. You will keep the same Coach throughout the programme so that you can build trust and understanding to help you make progress.
